Martock occurs as village & parish in Somerset, England, situated on the edge of the Somerset Levels seven miles north west of Yeovil in the South Somerset district. the village has a population of 4,468. the village was when a junctiin on local branches of the Great Western Railway, now demolished. Local web pages of interest include a Burrow Hill Cider Farm, the Mediaeval All Saints church with unique carven wooden statues in a eves, & the several local arts & crafts businesses including Stone Masonery, Wood Working & Silver Smith.
